Mommy: (changing another nasty diaper. Bean reaches for her 'peach') "No Laney. That's not good to touch with dirty hands. You could get a boo boo peach."
Bean: "A dirty peach?!" (starts randomly humming)
Mommy: "Laney? Did you understand me? What did Mommy just say?"
Bean: "Blah, blah, blah!"

Mommy: (sees Laney standing on the bench in the kitchen) "Hey! You better get down from there! You're going to get hurt!"
Bean: "But Mom I can't! I is a pirate. Pirates a-pose to be on ships!"

Mommy: "If you were going to pretend to be an animal, what would you be?"
Bean: "A brown bear. GGGGRRRROOOOWWWLLLL! But bears don't go on the potties cause their butts are too big."

Mommy: (feeling that Laney's pullup is wet) "Oh nooooo Laaaaane! You peed in your pants! You were doing so good today with no accidents."
Bean: "It's okay Mommy." (rubbing my cheek with her hand) "I'll pee on da potty nex weekend."
